At the beginning of 2011, I relocated from New York City back to Lafayette, Louisiana. I'm a Life Empowerment Coach and author, have a Business Administration background from the University of Louisiana, plus decades of extensive continued education that covers topics from business to behavior, with a focus on human dynamics. Simultaneous to moving through the ranks at a top CPA firm in Louisiana in the 1980s, I created and published Network Quarterly: A Connection for Like Minds, which led me to interact with such movers and shakers as Wayne Dyer, Alan Cohen, Dan Millman, Chris Griscom, Stuart Wilde, and many others integral to the self-empowerment movement and model of that time. I'm a Silva Mind Method graduate and trained as a Level 1 Reiki practitioner.
While living atop the Cumberland Gap in Tennessee, prior to moving to New York City, I implemented a workshop and one-on-one coaching called Take This Life and Live It! at the Appalachian Women’s Guild, a non-profit established in the state’s most distressed county, to assist unskilled women to become trained for the workplace. During this time, I was published in several periodicals including The University of Science and Philosophy’s quarterly magazine. I also presented at the International Forum for New Sciences, and did numerous radio interviews and hour-long programs interacting with callers.
Prior to 2005, I worked with the Committee to Encourage Corporate Philanthropy, which was co-founded by the actor Paul Newman. In 2005, I trained as a Life Empowerment Coach with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) in New York City. In 2008-2009, this training was enhanced through Coaching From Spirit. I'm a weekly columnist for United Press International's Religion and Spirituality Forum, as well as posted at numerous online venues, and winner of Embrace the Positive’s February 2009 Wise Owl Award.
I've written a number of books/ebooks including: I Don’t Want to be Your Guru, but I Have Something to Say (considered by some to be the contemporary of the perennial Jonathan Livingston Seagull); Reinvent Yourself: Refuse to Settle for Less in Life and Business; How to Have What You REALLY Want; and Law of Attraction Alchemy: Change Lead Thoughts into Gold.
